The on-line Membership Directory is LIVE!!
The wait is over! You asked for it -you got it!
Remember sitting next to that interesting person last month, but you failed Networking 101 and forgot to ask for her card? You know she was a member of ABWA and could provide computer training. Or only catching the member business name during introductions? Well, now there is a searchable member directory by keyword, category, or name!
Participation
Any member in good standing (LOCAL and National dues must be paid) is invited to register and create a member listing. The FREE listing, a benefit of your membership includes Business Name, Address, Phone (s), Email, and Website link. Also included is a 50 character description, a map and you may choose to be in 3 appropriate categories!
Advertising
For just $40.00 dollars a year, you can choose the enhanced listing and reap the online rewards! The Enhanced Listing includes all of the above and these additional features designed to make your business stand out: Featured in the Sidebox, a long Description (1000 characters), your Logo, up to 5 appropriate categories, upload images, documents or products, and even add banner advertising for additional exposure! Your Listing Link is also included in our Monthly Newsletter!
So how do I get my information included?
Well that's the easy part! Just follow the link to Register. Once you've registered and activated your account (via the confirmation email) you're ready to submit your listing. To protect the integrity of our membership directory there is an approval process when you submit your listing. If you choose to enhance your listing, it will not be available until we receive your $40.00 check. Our long standing current advertisers have already been added to the directory, and a few committee chairs and board members have jumped on board to give you some examples.

Do I have to participate in the on-line directory? No, this is a Opt-in directory, as our print one was.
Is this a Public directory or Private?
To provide benefit for our membership and guests, this is a public directory - the Internet is a powerful way to promote your business, and being listed in reputable directories is a great way to augment you marketing! However, submitting a listing is ONLY open to our Membership.
What if I don't see an appropriate category for my business? Just send an email to member@abwacapecod.org and we'll create a new main or sub category when needed!
I'm not very good with these computer things, is there help available? Our board and committee chairs will be glad to offer pointers, and Geek Girl Boot Camp is March 7th- a great way to get up to speed with some of today's necessary business technology tools.
